Hello, I'm Ratsamee Huckfield, I am an Accredited Member of National Counselling Society and a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work within the NCS and BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
I qualified in BA (Hons) Counselling, BA in CBT, Diploma Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and have over 9 years’ experience in the school environment, NHS and private sector.
I am an approved provider for Bupa, WPA, and Aviva health insurance.
Do you ever feel like life is just too much right now? Maybe you’re exhausted from work, struggling to cope after a loss, or feeling anxious and low but not sure why. Sometimes, it can be hard to know what to do with all the emotions that come up or even how to make sense of them.
I work with adults and young people (14+) who are feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed or lost after bereavement. Together, we can explore what’s been happening for you, at your pace, in a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly without judgement.
Therapy can help you understand yourself better and learn how to manage your emotions, especially when they feel confusing or hard to control. I offer gentle support with emotional regulation, helping you find steadier ways to respond to what you feel, rather than feeling swept away by it.
My approach is warm, professional and collaborative. I’ll walk alongside you as you make sense of things, rebuild confidence, and find ways to reconnect with yourself and the people around you.
I offer weekly counselling and psychotherapy in Putney, Victoria and Monument, either short- or long-term depending on what feels right for you. together we can find a way forward. s.
